Web Design Web Design Web Design Web Design

Our web designs are adapted to each client's needs and goals.

By asking the right questions and creating an understanding of the business and vision, we can create a web design that solves problems, whether it’s conversion, strengthening brand identity or guiding visitors to the right products.

We create web designs that are functional, user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing and that follows the project’s other requirements and guidelines for e.g. availability.

Web Design

UX, UI, Strategy and Research

When designing a website, we always start with a strategy and research phase, in order to have a solid foundation of knowledge from which to build the website design. The work often includes workshops together with the customer and surveys of various kinds.

With the help of these tools, we identify different target groups and their needs.

By understanding and solving the needs and problems that website visitors have, we can produce a page that meets the website’s goals. For example to increase the conversion rate or make visitors find the right information faster.

This phase also includes designing interaction flows, navigation structure and layout of page structure.

Responsive Design and Mobile First

Responsive design means we make sure that the website looks good and works well on different screen sizes. Since the format and proportions can differ between different devices (mobile phones, tablets, laptops and desktops with large screens), the content must also be able to adapt to the device being used.

Mobile first means that the website’s design and functionality are adapted to prioritize the experience for those who visit the website via a mobile phone browser. Whether a website should be mobile first or not depends on whether or not the majority of visitors are expected to use a mobile phone when browsing the page.

Wireframes and Interactive Prototypes

Wireframes are sketches of the web page layout to show where elements should be placed. They can be compared to the floor plan of a house and are an aid to determine the structure of the page. We use wireframes to be able to plan and evaluate the structure of the web page before web design is added to the sketches.

Interactive or clickable prototypes can make it even more efficient to test and evaluate the website’s structure, layout and interaction flows. Often we start with a wireframe sketch, which we then augment with interactive elements to simulate how a visitor might use the web page.

Design Systems

What are Design Systems?

Design systems have become more and more important with the rise of web applications and web-based software services. Larger web apps and digital products are often constructed by putting together smaller components to form a complete experience.

To keep the design, branding and user experience consistent throughout the product, setting up specific rules to describe how components should be built and look have proven very effective. These unified rules constitute the design system.

“Design System” is a comprehensive description, encompassing concepts such as Brand Guidelines, UI Components and Pattern Library.

How do Design Systems Work?

Design Systems help companies and organizations gain control of all parts of a digital product. The Design System helps keep the design, communication, and branding coherent across all platforms.

At the same time, the Design System serves as a resource for the future. The documentation makes it easier for everyone involved to find, understand and adding to the product. By being able to reuse concepts and components, a lot of time can be saved.

We guide our clients through the process of developing a Design System adapted to the needs of their organization.

Resources and Materials

We make sure that the new website is in line with the company’s graphic profile as much or as little as you wish. If there is no graphic profile, we can help create it.

We ensure that the colors used on the website work with the accessibility requirements for the project. We can also help select and edit images for the website, as well as produce icons and choose fonts that go in line with your message.

We can also help our customers with the design of newsletters or e-mails from online shops.

How we Work

In larger agencies, there are often different departments that work with web design and programming.

As a smaller team that has worked together since 2010, we have shorter decision paths and there is a greater overall understanding among everyone on staff for all parts of the web project. In this way, we work more efficiently and avoid communication problems and possible skill gaps that can arise if there are different departments that work with web design and programming respectively.
